Court-based civil litigation can be slow, public and costly. Mediation is an alternative that allows for discussion and negotiation. Often the results are lasting, just settlements which parties prepare and agree terms for themselves.
Our role as mediators is to actively listen. Participants always remain in control and able to influence the outcome of a mediation. We understand and assist where possible, never imposing decisions or settlements.
Mediations are confidential and conducted without prejudice. No statements, offers, proposals or admissions may be later recalled in court and are subject to the full extent of protection which law permits.
